Where Your Money Goes

Since 1993, Susan G. Komen for the Cure® - Minnesota Affiliate has raised approximately $25 million that been awarded to Minnesota (non-profit) institutions for breast cancer awareness, education, outreach, screening, preliminary treatment and research. Up to 75% of the net proceeds stay right here in Minnesota. In 2007, we distributed more than $2.3 million to help fund national research and statewide breast cancer screening, education and treatment programs targeting medically underserved Minnesota women. Total administrative and fund-raising expenses in 2007 were a low 10% of total revenues, which enables us to maximize your investment in the battle against breast cancer. A minimum of 25% of net funds raised are contributed to the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Grants Program for energizing science to find the cures.
