Pre-Race Day Schedule Saturday, May 12, 2012 Host site - Mall of America®, Bloomington, MN 2:00 PM Same Day Kids for the Cure® Fun Run Registration 3:00 PM Kids for the Cure® Fun Run (in North Parking Lot of MOA®) 5:30 - 8:00 PM CRAVE Pre-Race Day Dinner in the Great Room in Nickelodeon Universe® CRAVE Pre-Race Dinner Please make your reservation to join us for a great pre-race dinner, generously hosted and donated by CRAVE Restaurant, from 5:30 - 8:00 PM on Saturday, May 12, in the Great Room in Nickelodeon Universe® at Mall of America®. It's casual, it's fun - it's great for everyone! Reserve your tickets in your Race registration form or online. Tickets sold at the door are on a space available basis only. Don't miss this wonderful part of the Race weekend! Your tickets will be available at the west entrance to Nickelodeon Universe® starting at 5:00 PM on May 12th. CRAVE Restaurant is proud to support the Susan G. Komen Twin Cities Race for the Cure®. Event and Course Descriptions 5K Race Course USATF Certification Number MN-06008-RR 5K (3.1 Miles) TIMED RUN For runners and wheelchair racers. Join elite and novice runners for a 3.1 mile run! Starting at the intersection of 24th Avenue South and Lindau Lane (near the north entrance of Mall of America®) and finishing at the intersection of Old Shakopee Road and Killebrew Drive (near the south entrance of Mall of America®). Please do not leave any bags or backpacks unattended on the Race grounds. Baby strollers and baby joggers are not permitted in the 5K Run. The top 5 men, women, and survivor finishers will be timed. 5K (3.1 Miles) WALK Join us for a non-competitive women's, men's, and children's walk that starts on American Boulevard and finishes at the intersection of Old Shakopee Road and Killebrew Drive (near the south entrance of Mall of America®). The 5K walk is not timed. 1K (0.62 miles) WALK This walk is fun, easy, and great for people of all ages. Starts inside Mall of America® on the second level near Sears and finishes on the second level near the Rotunda. The 1K walk is not timed. Kids for the Cure® FUN RUN Saturday, May 12, at 3:00 PM, right before the Pre-Race Day Dinner at the Mall of America®. Starts and finishes in the North Parking Lot at Mall of America®. The Fun Run is not timed. It's fun for children 1-12. Every child that registers and participates is a winner and receives a medal! Registration Registration Questions?
